Anyone had any experience of using this online payment system? The reason I ask is because a well-known top figure painter and pF member has requested that I use it to make a payment.

And while I have absolutely no reason to doubt his integrity and honesty, the fact that as far as I can tell and unlike with PP, you have no comeback if anything goes wrong (lost in the post for example) puts me off. There is also the matter of horrendous fees (10% of the total amount you are sending).

They have Moneygrams in all the Walmarts here. I had the same situation Steve, (Russia). The first time I went Western Union which was around 10% so the next time I went Moneygram and did it online which was way cheaper(around 6%) but thats here in the US. Different countries will have different fees. The transaction went through easily and was picked up the same way as Western Union. Your pickup I.D. he uses better match exatly.

I used a phone app to transfer money called transferwise, it was a small amount around £15, and that worked fine with no fee.

I have used this service for a number of payments. Trouble free competitive FX Rate and low fees cant say more than that.
