Haven't been able to get alot done recently but have put the finishing touches on MIG's 1/9th scale Mongol Tribesman with Mongolian Eagle.

I studied the box art quite alot before starting and decided that the Eagle was sitting on the arm "too straight" and needed to be tilted forward a little. I cut the hand off the bust and rotated it so that the Eagle leans forward slightly giving the motion appearence as if landing or getting ready to take flight.

Below is a photo of whats on the bench now. Harton Crow base coated with Humbrol for the flesh done in oils and also the LaMeridiana Miniature's Mountain Man.

You can also see the above Mongol with the Eagle on a seperate work base for painting.

Really cool! You have to see this one in person to appreciate the detail Guy achieved on this one. Especially the plumage on the eagle. I still think the glove on this guy looks absolutely like real suede. Nicely done! I didn't guess right on the conversion Guy! Nice touch!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Much appreciated.

Dave ~ This bust is still available through Red Lancers.

Looks great Guy. I have to agree with sambaman on that glove it looks great but the hat is as equally impressive as the glove. Is that a bald eagle??
