the piece is finished
will not be added anything

Its a shame - because with a skull like that he really hasn't got much space for brain at all :D

Unless it was your aim was to create a warrior with severe learning disability (microcephaly is the name). If its finished then its finished.

Always better Vitalino. Excellent anatomy and facial features.

Abraço,
Pedro.

Thank you Pedro
Abraço

Hi Gaudin
when I spoke to not add something
was in relation to a weapon or accessory
but in relation to the skull
Yes, I can add more volume

Thank you!!

Vitalino

Add more!!:D Dont be stingy, he needs to contain a fairly large adult brain in there:LOL: and you need to balance a large face with huge jaw.

Also remember to add volume to parietal/ temporal area when looking from the front

And if you want to play with it a little more- I would move ears more forward and a bit lower, rule of thumb is that top of the ear needs to be on same line as brow. If you trim the jaw line a little - it will rebalance the rest of the cranium.

Of course once you started and cant stop - I would expand shoulders - again, shoulder width should contain at least two heads (length) to be proportionate.
May be some fur over shoulders as well to give brush guys more textures to play with?

Regards

Hi Gaudin
I will definitely follow the advice!!!

Regards

Vitalino

Tons better!(y)

I would trim the neck from the back a little to show occipit - as the guy is quite skinny.
Also, may be make angle of jaw less sharp.

His ear could benefit from being longer and to have elements of pinna more defined -have look at this template. I usually make a hole where canal should be and then clay just falls into place.

PS also worth moving ear ever so slightly to the back

Hi guys ,

Being more talented with a Hoover rather than a sculpting tool this is fascinating stuff seeing the bust develop as I watch this thread .....

How about a weapon ie a spear on his left side as you look at him

Following with much interest
