Hey.

here's some WIP shots of this beautiful zombie bust by Russian sculptor Viktor Makov, aka. Monsterskaya.

Primer and underpainting are Mr. Color/Tamiya, skintone is Vallejo Model Color and from then on there were lots of shenanigans with Vallejo Game Ink (yellow, red, blue, purple), more diluted skintone, some enamel and oil weathering gunk washes and a little bit of Citadel Blood For The Blood God.

What's left to do: Seal everything under a coat of matte or satin (haven't decided yet) for durability, bring back the sheen to the wet and gooey parts with enamel gloss and add one or two strands of drool with UHU glue.

Not the traditional definition of beauty, but a great piece of painting. Your dead flesh colouration is excellent.
Certainly an eyecatching model to have in the display. What scale is it?

Oh right, totally forgot to mention! Scale is somewhere between 1:3 and 1:4

Hi Richard

Great to see you posting , certainly nice fleshwork , lovely work on the eyes as well

Big scale as well so ideal for effects

Looking forward to the drool

Please do post more of your artwork

Have fun @ the bench

I didn't know Viktor knew my ex-wife! Seriously, a real nice piece well painted. Love the tone you got for the overall feel.

Nice piece there, though he seems to be a bit hungry, you never know so just keep an eye on him in the dark!

Cheers Simon
