I will definitely be getting this figure. My neighbour's wife's Father was one of Monty's senior Staff Officers (a General late of the Engineers), in the desert. This is what he had to tell me in a recent email when I sent him pictures of your work:

"Now that is an interesting subject. Dawn's father had more than one "Run In" with him when he took over the eight army in Egypt, he was not liked among his fellow Generals! He kicked them all out of the King David Hotel and made them live in camps in the desert, without the home comforts they were used too.

He made Dawn's father build two camps (Ismaliar and Fayed) and then go and live in them with the rest of the army,not appreciated!!
