Hi All
Getting to grips with this Fimo stuff (last posted head went nowhere)
See what you make of this one.

Here is the second stage,
This stuff is so soft that I could not work any more without baking
although not a bad thing as these basic forms were achieved with an
alcohol dampened brush.

(y) looks good, is there a choice of colors?

is it difficult to keep the putty from deforming when you work in the details since your working with large soft areas?

Hi Quang , Gordy,
Adding to large areas is a problem, things like a nose tends to deform
when you try to get beyond the basic shape

I find trying to plan it so that I can refine basic shapes after baking seems to
work. I will try Sculpey when I can get hold of some.
In the meantime this is OK.

Frank, Nice job on the head. What I try to do is build up a rough nose/shape on the form my final sculpt will go on. After baking you can carve it down, as you just need something to support the material. Doing a complete nose in a larger scale is hard to do without some support for the bridge. You're coming along well with what you have so far.~Gary

Thank's for the encouragement Gary.

Working with this material is new to me.
I do like being able to walk away when I get a problem area
and being able to pick it up again.
