More sad news

I just a phonecall from Maria Heryghers that her houseband Ramir past away yesterday evening.
Ramir whas the founder and chairman of our Figureclub AMSS.

This is sad news and a loss to the hobby.

Also is similar news the hobby lost Eddy Vandersteen yesterday as well, other wise known on here as dArtagnan, a great modeler and a gentleman and a good friend.

May they been joying the hobby together where ever they may be.

Two lovely people gone from our hobby-such sad news. Eddy was a good friend, always happy to share his knowledge, and a real gentleman. Ramir I first met at the Antwerp show where he was a key figure, he was always there with a cheery hello at Euro thereafter.

Ramir was like a father figure to me, both in the hobby and beside. Just when we thought things were ging better this happens,... I've never felt such a pain in my life and somewhere I'm still waiting till you call or when we'll start our next Skype painting session. I just hope one thing : that there will be oil paints in heaven. Miss you a lot maateke,

I am saddened at this news. I had the good fortune to meet Ramir a few times down the years and I always found him to be a real gentleman and genuinely nice bloke.
If heaven had a figure show, he will be there.

My deep condolences to all his family and loved ones.
