Hello everyone. I want to show a figure on the scale 1:35. Mountain Rifle Regiment commander. These regiments fought fierce battles with the German army in the Caucasus.

Always exciting to see new mountain troops! Just wish there was more information written about Soviet mountain troops in English. I did find some nice photographs of these guys at the National Archives recently. I'll have to post them.

Yes, I have a copy of that book. Unfortunately, I cannot read Russian! But it does have some good photographs and artwork.

The book is mainly the history of the fighting. Description of uniforms is not enough. States that used pre-war mountain kits.
