Museum Director destroys diorama built by students

A link to this story was posted on timelines and a few other sites. It's really sickening. If the diorama were in a state museum, and therefore property of the state, could there be criminal charges for destroying state property? ~Gary

Do you think there might be a few people in the community a bit "miffed" at the actions of Mr. Hunt and the museum!??! The young people involved and other students past and present have been angered, disappointed, and humiliated by the actions (and lack of common courtesy) shown by supposedly intelligent adults. As a teacher with 45 years of experience, I see this is an excellent example of what we as teachers have tried to explain to our students as actions that hurt other people's feelings and make them not want to participate in worthwhile activities in and for their community. Nice job Mr. Hunt (and others responsible)!! They, as adults in positions of responsibility, have failed to set a good example for the youth of today.

Pathetic.
If I was one of the parents I'd plan on meeting him in Civil Court if I couldn't bring Criminal charges against him.This is where he gets his email. I expressed
