Oh my goodness, Gentlemen: I do so appreciate your kind remarks
regarding my post of this Mini Art 1:16th Netherlands Musketeer. And to you
Joe, thank you for your kind words. Yes, as I see it, model building is taking
a basic kit and then altering it, changing it into what your personal preferences
are, into what you see as the final outcome. Isn't that what makes this hobby
such a wonderful experience? We start with a basic kit and change it into
what our creative expression must fabricate at that point in time. Have a good
day, Joe. . . . The Miami Jayhawk

Hello John:
Oh my, John, I was so touched by your kind note above.
And now you're working on the same Mini Art figure. Ha ha,
isn't that a coincidence! Also, I've done the same thing regarding
working on a project for a while and then putting it aside and then
back to it. . . You know the drill. Some of those projects I started
are now what we here in the American Heartland call "Shelf Queens"
I hope you're going to carry on with this figure. I certainly
appreciate you adding the photos of that figure in your post. I
think you're creating a very creative and interesting figure here, John
and so I hope you complete it and post the photos here for we/us?
Planeteers to enjoy. Lastly, John, I will say how much I appreciate
your kind words about how we "folks" here on P.Figure can be
friends, and share good sentiments and good times on the modeling
bench together. You and I connect, my friend. And I wish you a
great week ahead. Your comments really touched me. Jayhawker

Hello Adrian:
Over the years, here on PF I've always got a big kick out
of the avatar you chose, Mathew Broderick. And yes, I've
seen that movie a number of times. It is so funny. I want
to thank you for taking time to respond to my original
post. Your kind words are very much appreciated. Oh gee,
colour. . . for me, yes, it is paramount. It is what attracts
attention on that contest table. Have a great week Adrian,
Kansas Kid, Rick

Hello Napoleon. . . Nap:
Thank you for the kind remarks regarding
my attempt at leather on this old Mini Art
figure. What is it about soldiers from that
period with all the leather straps and harnesses
and the like that draw our interest into that
historical period? I know that is what drew
me into trying to "enhance" this figure. And I'm
sure there is a lot more that could be said
regarding this penchant we have for leather.
Regardless, I appreciate you taking time to
post your kind words. Have a great week,
Rick

Hi guys great work, I have all these kits, some of them two or three times over,

what great potential they have for conversions.

I really like your work.

Paul
