Much appreciated SG, you couldn't meet nicer guys than the organisers of the show.
I have to say I was surprised and delighted in equal measure.
Ron who's also too modest to mention that he got a silver.

Looking good. But its not a display, its a crowd.

Thanks Janne.
Might as well fill the carrying case with each providing support for the other rather than have a couple of figures rattling about.
Next time I'll probably enter about the same amount but across a few categories.

Could you enter as a display or choose to divide the figures in different classes? Are there different levels as well?

Great display Derek, speaking of filling the carrying case, could you show us what you use to transport your figures safely.
I'm always interested in the many different ways modellers deal with the problem of safe transport for figures.

I use one of these Mark

Identical and similar products are available from Amazon and Ebay.
Simply rip out the cantilevered shelves and you're good to go.
What to do is to cut a piece of 1/4" ply to fit in the bottom as a tray to take your models, that way you can fix them all in place with blutac.
The case complies with flight cabin baggage sizes and easily fits into overhead storage.
All of the figures you see on the display along with the collapsed display stand easily fits into this box.
Cheers

You do some fine work Del (y)!

I have made myself a nameplate for a Viking following your example :).

Joe

Much appreciated Joe. Glad the nameplate idea proved useful ....... fire up a photo of the Viking, if its anywhere near as good as your 'sentry' it'll be well worth showing (y)

Thanks Derek, nice looking sturdy carry case, I've seen others using the same kind of box with a false floor into which figure bases are screwed from underneath.
I'm surprised the Blutac is strong enough to keep everything in place but it obviously works well.......cheers mate, thanks for that.

Derek,
Just seen this now. Thanks for sharing your work and the Show report. Congrats on the medal as you paint well in every scale!

Been kind of busy lately Del, so I'm just now responding. Here is a shot of Andrea's 'Norse Lord' that I did last year. Thanks to your SBS I was able to knock out a descent name plate :)!
