Hi to all,

I want to share with you my first figure painted with acrylis colors.
The subject is an old Dragon's Delta Force (Somalia 93).
The figure is builted straaight dy box with minor adjustngs, helmat re-shaped as half head model, goggles and stripe for the gun pounch.

Painting with acrylis was a big headace for me, it's very difficult blend togheter the colors. My preavious jobs were made with enamels and in few cases with some details painted with oils.

Please let's me know what do you think about my experiment, I want to do better next time.

Finally vacation time it's arrived, now in my house there are 32° C and I'm bored to sweat.

Ciao,

Jerry

Jerry,
I think your camo has potential for sure. I think you ned to push your highlights and shadows more. Especially on the darker equipment and maybe the fleshtones. Keep it up!

Jerry, your first figure in acrylics looks much better than my first figure in oils.
You'er on the right track and by practicing you're only going to get better, I would
suggest you practice your highlights , shadows and blending.

Keep up the good work.

Ciao

I like the Camouflage! The Colours looks very well balanced! Try to experiment with lots of washings in the folds of the clothes and the Equipment to shade it a bit more. Acrylicx are exellent for this!

I remember painting my first 28mm Skeletons in acrylics. It was easy and good going. You can detail with this colours like hell!

Give it a try and experiment!

Frank

Thanks to all for suggestion and comment.

Acrylic paints are fantastic, their covering is really good (at start to much for me).
I spent a lot of time to find the correct diluition for the different step during the painting process.

This is the only way I know to do our hobby better , try , try and try it agian.

Thanks again,

Ciao,

Jerry

Exactly that way, Jerry, this is the most fun! Turning the paintbottle upside down, grab the brush and keep it going! And to see the paintjobs of our real masters here, is the biggest challenge: Seeing is believing and than doing! Man, how I love this hobby!!
