My First Bust

Not exactly my first bust but the first one that I was able to use the info and inspiration from this site . I tried to follow the box art as much as possible and doing the eyes is still an adventure for me. Youngs SS Ardennes. This a great site for improving skills it just takes practice I guess.

You have to give more info about the paint you are using, priming etc.
It's not easy to make some comments to improve your work with the small information.

Used Vallejo acryllics, primed with a basic black primer...face I used a mix of red leather mixed with diff skintones. The lowlights I mixes fieldgrey with cammo black brown in diff densities and fieldgrey with basic skin for highlights. Helmet .. I did a wash of cammo black brown then used cammo pale brown.

great start, my advice try and find your own style of doing figures try not to copy box art to much as they are someone else's impression of the model.

Main thing do your research, find the medium that suits you and practice but enjoy good luck
