Yes this is my first. Actually I've customized or convert poses of several 1/35 figures before but I've tried only on arms and legs...very simple conversions.

Yes of course I will paint this. Painting is the most interesting thing to me and I want to paint dark blue and red pompon uniform of French navy at this era. That's why I build this.

Before I paint this, I want to make a resin copy of this, but I haven't got resin kit yet. and I still am thinking weather I will add arms or not. If I add arm, I will make it to hold pipe.

Progress Images Part 5

Here's WIP images.

I've changed my mind and I decided to let him hold the pipe in right hand instead of put it in the mouth.

Building right hand.



...and building right arm. And I also re-build the ears, because they were poor sculpted and too flat. This time I used Magic-Sculpt for the first time, and I think this is really awesome putty and I love it.



The pipe is just a starter, tentative build, I will switch it to another pipe build with magic-sculpt later.
