Holy cow! That bust is AMAZING! I too am interested in what you painted it with. To me it looks like acrylics. TERRIFIC job on this Daniel (y)

Wooops, I forgot to ask. Daniel, do you have anymore pics showing us different sides of your work? I would certianly appreciate them.

From what I know about Daniel, he paints with oils. And the results are quite amazing.

Have a look on his site : Daniel Ipperti

His painting of horses is also fabulous !!

fine work Monsieur Daniel!
what is the scale of this sculpture
by the way - is this figure done with a reference material from Thomas E. Mails 'The Mystic Warrior of the Plains' book or his other book on the warrios societies - "Dog Soldiers Societies of the Plains"? These books are probably best reference material on the plains tribes (also his other books on the Apaches and Hopi)

and who is the manufacture for this great bust?
ER

I agree Ernest, the bust is beautiful, and Daniel has brought it to life so well with his painting.

I believe it is sculpted by Carl Reid of Harton Miniatures here in the U.K. I know Historex Agents stock Carls kits and I'm sure Chuck at The Red Lancers also carries them. It is 1:9 scale I think.

All the best.

Roy.

The bust is by Poste Militaire and I believe was sculpted by Julian Lamb.~Gary

Oh my gosh, that guy looks like he could walk straight off the computer screen. That's an amazing paintjob!
