G'day, this is my take on the Andrea Old Fiddler figure.
I haven't even attempted a 54mm figure for some time, because of the old peepers and the effects of Delirium Tremens but I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one.
I've portrayed this fellow and his dog as playing a tune on the birthday of a departed loved one.
I hope you like it, and I hope I don't stuff up this posting as I've done before.

What a great concept! I really like both your painting and the scene. Bravo for something quite different!

Well done Mark! Once again your originality has come through with this subtle twist that moves this from a story about a hapless beggar to one of quiet dignity, perhaps an old digger being remembered by his mate.

Positioning of the parts of the story are spot on especially little dog & flower vase ;-)

Good on ya!

Mike

Beautiful , there are so many stories that this could tell!.... lost love, and hard times! .. loneliness, .. its the fresh flowers in a wine bottle, that speaks volumes to my eye! Excellent work! (y)

Regards,

Mark
