Hi guys
Here is a link to show some pics of my SS-fallschirmjäger under progress.
Perhaps not the right forum but didn't manage to send it under "w. bench" ;-)

The figure still need some details added like hand holding a mauser (panzerfaust will be optional) and egg grenades hanging in the ammo bandoilers.
Some more painting and weathering also needs to be done, on helmet, grenades and uniform, "five o´clock" shadow added to face etc.:)
I must confess I felt quite "rusty" painting as it was a couple of years ago a did any figure painting...far to long time..."lol" and have never done anything in this scale before. :)
I took it as a challenge to test acrylic painting for the first time on the flesh areas on this figure.
I find acrylics very nice to work with but one needs to get a hang of the teqnicue. ;-)
Any comments would be really appreciated.

Regards/ Gunnar

He's looking very good! I understand what you mean about the challenge to use acrylics on the flesh. It's very hard to do successfully on larger scale figures and you've done a good job.

Is this a figure you scuplted? It looks great. Will it go to production and for who, if so?
Nice Job!

Tjena Gunnar!

Han ser super ut! Akryler ar roliga att mala med bara man far lite grepp pa dom, det tar ett tag att vanja sig. Vilken typ av akryl anvande du for huden?

I went to your index page of photos. I noticed two other figures, 1/16 scale. The one I recognize as another Warriors release, but I didn't recognize the other (Wiking). Has that also been released by someone? It's nice to see Warriors continue with the large scale kits. Are there any Allied figures in the near future from them??
Rob

Gunnar,
I was hoping Warriors may have plans for more large scale allied figures. We need a 1/9 scale US to go with the Italeri Harley motorcycle. Why don't you let them know about the needs of the public. I can't believe no one was interested in your Wiking figure, it appears to be a nice figure. Will you be doing anything else for Warriors in the near future?
Rob
