I had bought this set the minute it came out but I had never seen it painted until now and it has left me breathless.Don't know when I'll get around to paint it but WOW!!!!!!Alive History Miniatures is a fabulous company of exceptional quality and saddly it is still neglected by most western modelers.I sincerely hope that posts like the above will change that.

Very nice. Looks a bit like me although I never got round to making the chariot. Did all the research . All 1:1 scale of course.

I would say the chariot is a tad too wide, the wheels would be all wood with wooden rims and there should be a leather suspension floor similar to those found in King Tuts tomb. You cannot stand up at speed on a solid wood floor and there was no axle suspension like we have today. The horses would have looked more like a small thick set cob rather than fine thoroughbreds.

I did quite a study of this era going round a lot of museums measuring up bits and pieces.

If anybody wan't some pointers in this era let me know.

Andrew.
