What scale is this model?......l can only find limited edition quantities on kickstarter....no mention of scale anywhere.

Keith

The "Napoleon at the Col du Saint-Bernard" is a 80 mm limited edition .
The pewter version is a 50 mm limited edition.
The Napoleon pewter bust is a 50 mm limited edition.

I've put in a pledge as I think that this looks like an excellent version. Your sculpting is wonderful.

However, as you say, you've put it on here a little late and you only have a week to go and that may be challenging at this time of year. You might also think about posting this on the MFCA forum on Facebook. That has a lot of followers from around the world and might help to get you to your target.

Best of luck.
Gerry

I saw that Ron but assumed that 80/50/50 was the size of the edition rather than the figure as they are such odd scales....so if they are indeed the scales how big is the edition...none of it is very clear.

Hope you are having an enjoyable Xmas Ron and best wishes for 2021.

Keith.

And to you mate (y)

Just checked again.... limited to 100 pieces for each of the three items.

The price is very reasonable at 78 euro for all three but the miniature versions in 50mm are metal and the 80mm in plastic.

Not quite sure which market these are aimed at, modelling? Gift? Toy?

Hi there

A well known image of course , looks a good sculpt but as said the scales are a little different , resin would be most preferred material to cast

Thanks for sharing and do introduce yourself in the Welcome aboard part

I would have thought that producing something like this in plastic would be very expensive with the price of tooling and molding. It would have to be mass produced in the thousands to make enough money to pay for this process of plastic injection molding, surely this has been written/interpreted wrong and its cast in resin which is a form of plastic visually but really is not plastic? I could be wrong but do know a little about both processes of manufacturing.

I think communication has to be better...

what does it mean plastic? injection moulding plastic? impossible the figure is too complex to be produced in injection moulding ( by the way historex is injection moulding plastic.
resin? resin isn't plastic...simply...

the others issues are the dimensions... 80 mm tall from the base to top? 50 ( or 80) mm are dimension not scale ? in which scale is available this subject?

until today we are seeing a beautiful 3d rendition...

great job in any case

If this was a resin kit in 120mm or even 200mm, wow, wouldn't that be great. Hopefully we can get some clarification, regardless. This would be a magnificent piece for the collection.
