Excellent paint job Dimitrios and very quick too.

One small point though and it may just be the picture but should his collar on
the "Habit" not be blue or green depending on his favored uniform that day
IE Grenadier or Chasseur. (y)(y)

Hi Dimitrios,

Ron is right unfortunately..

The uniform you despicted is not real, Usually Napoleon used the Grenadier uniform (blue one attached) or Chasseur (Green one attached).

If I were you I would paint the green parts blue (including the yellow collar trims which in the Grenadier uniforms were red) and the yellow trims on the pectoral parts white as the rest.

Amazing job BTW, but please amend the uniform!

Ciao

G

I really thank you all my friends for the comments. I appreciate them all a lot.
Eduardo i painted a yellow outline on the undercoat for some flavor.
Ronald i painted this one based on paintings i found on the net. You might be right though about the collar.

Unfortunately Napoleonic uniforms are quite precise (of course there are exceptions) but of the Emperor himself we have the uniforms and these are the one described in my post above.

If you see the painting you posted, the uniform is the grenadier one, in blue.

I know I sound like an old record, but Historic accuracy has to be as important as your amazing skills.

Again, you are a great talent.

Dimitrios The painting is stunning of that there is no doubt ! but were you to enter it in a top competition the uniform police would certainly give him his waterloo  you just cant add in different colours for flavor with Napoleonic stuff
