Hi all,
My first post here, so I'm finding my feet a little. Some of you know me personally while others will know of me as the owner of Sovereign 2000. I've always been more of an armour modeller, making my own masters etc, but recently bought Wolf Miniatures (not to be confused with Hornet, which is a totally different company) and have become far more figure based than before.
As a result I've been doing a lot more figure painting over the last 18 months or so, mostly for box art for my own products, but have been enjoying it and inproved enough to buy and paint items from other companies for myself.
This Alexandros bust of Napoleon is the most recent. Sadly I don't have the figure now, as I did it as a wedding present for a relative. However, I hope you like it and any constructive critisism will be welcome. I'll also try to keep future posts somewhat shorter.

Excellent job, but the color of his eyes was not blue.
Gray or a bluish-gray, according to first-hand descriptions should be the first choice.

Thanks for the kind remarks gents. With regard to the eye colour, I did check on that and some of the accounts said blue while the majority did say blue grey, but having started with blue as a base I kind of liked the way it looked and left it that way.
I started painting Nelson recently and it looks like his eye colour is also something of a grey area. Pardon the pun.
