Napoleonic Suggestions

Hi, I was wondering if any of you planeteers could recommend a biography / book on Napoleon? I'm not looking for a book focusing on his military campaigns but rather on the man himself and what made him tick.

There are lots and lots of books on him out there and the trial and error method could prove somewhat expensive!

The best book from Napoleon,that I readed,few months a go,are from the brithis
writer David G.Chandler,titled "The Campaigns of Napoleon",1966.An exsaustive
investigattion about the Napoleonic Wars and the principal protagonist,Napoleon.
