Always remember it being next the old gift shop at the museum (that was in the late 70's/80's) it always looked a bit neglected which was strange considering its importance?

To be honest, I've always had a bit of a struggle accepting this story of Napoleon leaving her behind at Waterloo. I thought he abandoned his carriage and left the field by horseback, escorted by his surviving entourage and Chasseur duty escort. Does anyone know if any other mounts from the Imperial Stable were at Waterloo? I can't find anything definitive in my books. I am sure our Continental cousins will have such information available. We're going to Paris in February, so it will give me something else to badger the patient curators in the Musee de l'Armee with
