I have now completed this one from Avanpost, thank you to members on here who helped with the WIP
Chronos, svt and Oleg. Thank you for the help
Painted in acrylics and given a bit of damage to the cap plate.

thanks for looking in and have a safe Christmas and a better New year

Lovely piece Bob and superbly painted.

Further to my post on your WIP thread I can now see the green on the uniform.

Thanks Bill, the photos in the WIP were taken on a phone so not that good, these are on a Nikon camera.

That has come out really well Bob. An interesting figure and a nice departure from the usual Napoleonic subjects. Well impressed!

Thank you Phil, I loved doing this one, out of my comfort zone and something I will do again if any more Russians turn up in 75mm. Thanks for looking in. Have a great Christmas.

First class Bob ...knew you would be all over this one...(y) ....have you got your eyes on Chronos mounted lifeguard....lol. Mike

Cheers Mike, yes I have my eye on the new Chronos 54 but have also got my hands on Avanpost's new mounted French Dragoon in 75mm

Another nice piece of work, Bob - & kudos to you for choosing such a radically different subject, & quite a colourful one at that.
Merry Christmas & best wishes for a better 2021.

Thank you Chris,
I was dubious about doing this one but liked the pose. I did have help from several members on here, a great community.
Merry Christmas and a better new year to you.

Nicely done Bob. I like the looks of the Avian figures; hope one is under the tree.. I have a number of Russians to do from Altores and Irbis in 75mm. Have to dig one out.

Very nice finish to this Bob and the white hair certainly gives him a grizzled feel. Like the addition of the damage to his cap. Saw the Avanpost French dragoon on their Facebook site but couldn’t see it available on the mezzers minis site yet. Looks a beauty.

clsgt and Neal,
Many thanks for your kind comments, really appreciated. As for more Russians, Avanpost do one more, so maybe.
Merry Christmas and a better new year.
