I'm a newbie around here, so I'll say a few words about myself first. My main modeling interests are in plastic aircraft and spacecraft models, but I've done the occasional figure also. Back in the 60s and 70s I did quite a few 54mm and larger figures, but haven't done one in many years now. The one figure I have in work now is Reheat's 120mm John Glenn Mercury Astronaut, to go with my space flight models.

Back in 1979, I painted two 120mm nude figures, and now I can't remember the name or manufacturer. Heck, I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning, so how am I going to remember a figure I painted 28 years ago?!

Here are the figures:

Can anyone identify the manufacturer and/or names of the figures? I'm convinced they were Phoenix, but the current manufacturer doesn't show them online.

Thanks!

Peter

I'm not sure about the 2nd figure but the first one looks like one of the nudes done by SUPERIOR MINIATURES, circa 1980s. They were sculpted by Ray Lamb (not to be confused with Ray Lamb of Poste Militaire).~Gary

Gary is right. Actually both the figures are by the American Ray Lamb for Superior way back when.
