Recently I came across a picture of a Corso Models figure of a Union Officer with an eagle on his glove. I am assuming it is a depiction of "Old Abe" the eagle mascot of Company C of the 8th Wisconsin Volunteers. I would like to paint this figure for my grandson who is very interested in our family history. We have an ancestor, Walter Quick, who, according to our researched genealogy at one time was responsible for carrying "Old Abe" into battle. I think this figure would be rather meaningful to my grandson. It will be a present for his next birthday.

I have written to Corso Models but not heard back, so...... Anyone know of a dealer or someone that might have this figure and be willing to part with it? Obviously I will pay.

Many thanks for any help that you might be able to give.
