Hello,
I have scratchbuilt the front steps of the Reich chancellery as a vignette for my 1/16th German figure and would like to know what was the material used to make these steps? Also, what colors would you use to replicate these steps? I use Jo Sonja acrylic paints if that will help when telling me what colors to use.
Thank you.

I think they were granite, but I don't know for sure.

I've been search now for info about the Chancellory, and one item I found was this video on YouTube, albeit in German:

It gives me an idea that I might find some reference in Speer's autobiography, "Inside the Third Reich."

It's hard to tell from photos, because most of the ones you'll find are in black-and-white, and the steps appear grey.

If I can find anything else, I'll post back.

Prost!
Brad
