Many of you know I'm working on the 90mm Pegaso Crusader...I have almost completed the knight but have a big problem.
While working on the horse, I glued the saddle in place and decided to 'dry fit' the knight.
The knight itself was built in stages, the cloak, then the cowl hood, then the head and arms attach to the body in that order, which I assembled as I painted each part.
When I put him on the horse I was stunned to find the cantle (rear) part of the saddle will not slip between the knight's butt and cloak, which means he won't sit in the saddle at all unless I remove the cantle.
Surely I wasn't supposed to attach the cloak AFTER I placed the figure in the saddle?? I'm sure not going to ruin my paint job by taking it apart.
The only solution I can see is to file the cantle down until it fits in the required space - if that works. Otherwise I'm at a loss; I sure didn't expect this.
Hopefully my explanation is clear...
If anyone can offer some help, please do; I could just cry
