Hey guys!

Soon I will start a project and I would like to include a Napoleonic cannon in scale 1/24 but can not find.

If any of you know where I can find one, please tell me.

Thank you!

Greetings!

Juanma

Hello Juanma, I have been looking for napoleon cannon kits on-line, in 1/24th scale, so far no luck. There are some well detailed 1/16th scale cannon: 040033_1.jpgamerican-civil-war-cannon-napoleon-model-1857-12-pounder-1-16-.jpgI'll keep looking, and will post if I find something that may help you. Does your project have to be definitely in 1/24th? Regards, SG:)

You don't often see them around but Hinchliffe Models did some French Napoleonic Cannon in 75mm (1/24) scale way back in the 1980's.

It's a real pleasure to see how friends help you with any problem, many thanks to all the truth that you find on the net only for 54mm or 120mm but these Archimede last me very well come to the project.

I can only thank you again!

Greetings!

There were several 75mm figures from Hinchliffe; sculpted by Ray Lamb & latterly by Julian Benassi. There were also 80mm scale figures sculpted by Paul Knight, Julian Benassi & latterly Alan Caton. In conjunction with these there was a 75mm scale Renaissance/ECW Cannon & Limber to accompany a 2 horse team from the same period. (I painted this one for the proposed box art of a combined kit but the release was cancelled when the Hinchliffe range was sold to Skytex.) They also produced at least 1 French Napoleonic cannon in 75mm scale. One of the Alan Caton figures was of a French Horse Artillery of the Guard Officer leaning against the cannon wheel.

At best I presume that Skytrex still have the moulds but I understand there are no plans to rerelease any of the range.
