I'm almost finished with my 1/8th scale classic predator and was thinking that I would like to put him standing on a branch and would like to know,in this scale of 1/8th how would you make a tree or maybe just a partial one to simulate him high in the trees.

Mark has some great stuff there, but in 1/8 scale, I would try and find a real tree branch to perch him on, the more gnarled the better for the atmosphere, and you cant sculpt better than the real thing. I dont know where you live, but I find great gnarly tree branches washed up on the beach, they have that real weathered look.

Yes, you're right there Ben. You can't really beat the real thing and I try to use them whenever possible.
Always slowly dry any real wood in an oven to make sure no moisture, fungus spores or any other pathogens remain.
Sometimes real plant material with the bark removed can look good, but if it's fresh again dry it and apply coating of lime sulphur.
Lime Sulphur kills anything on it and will give it a bleached look.

Chris Have you ever thought of using a Bonzai Tree. That way you can use various sizes till you get one that fits what you need.
Many local garden centres usually have a few in stock
