Today through the post arrived a really nice bust from Nemrod - French Infantryman 1915 (NFA012). Not sure on the scale of the bust bust its pretty big and well cast in resin. However to my mind the unit number on the collar is not quite historically correct with the number 156. Been doing some research and it appears that the 156th infantry division was deployed on the Gallipoli and Salonika fronts. I can find no references or pictures to them wearing kepis. What am I missing? Does 156 refer to to division?
