Wonderful piece ......brilliant characterisation............so good ! I can almost hear him saying " Speak up ! Stop mumbling !
For God's sake why does everybody mumble these days ? " Perhaps one day he may appear as a full figure ? I would love that.

Yes, I was thinking about having his hands and holding the walking stick in his old hands . Maybe in the future after the agreement with Gordon we will implement and add. It will depend on how popular this topic will be.
And many thanks.

That's a good idea for the full figure modellers .....think it would be nice to have him slightly bent looking at a memorial with lost friends names

Just an idea !

I just love the idea of him standing there just like in the picture - one hand in the pocket of his flannel trousers and
gazing back through time and memory. It's already a stunning piece, the finest tribute, and a certain winner so it
might seem a bit churlish to ask for more, but................

As usual I've remembered something that I wanted to mention before........There's a pretty decent account of the Arnhem
business by the historian Anthony Beevor - it's been around for a while but contains lots of details, first hand accounts. and
what have you. A fine and informative read that provides an excellent context to this old veteran.
