Hi Christos
Just a wee bit of info regarding Bonnie Prince Charlie ,as he was, and still is affectionately known in Scotland.Bonnie means good looking in the Scottish language so he would be called "Bonnie Charlie".There was about 30,000 highland clansman that didn't join up with Prince Charles so the rebellion was not as popular as some people would think.A lot of people think it was a Scottish verus the English once again but there were clans who fought on the goverment armies side and it was a British Army putting down a rebellion.
Religion played a large part in the rebellion, hence the reason of the small turn out for Prince Charle's cause.

Hi Christos
I hope i didn't offend anyone. It's not everbody that knows what" Bonnie" means .I think Alexandros may have made the mistake in the translation.I can't blame them for that as even the English have problems understanding the Scottish!!!!
Brilliant figure but too much tartan for me Costas, but i know an English friend of mine who will do a cracking job of painting the tartan, as it's his specialty

No Brian I didn't offened my friend. And you are right not everybody know the Scotish history but if you decide to paint it is more easy than the other Scotish figures.
Christos

Spot on Michael. The word bonnie is often used as "Bonnie Scotland" meaning beautiful Scotland ,although i must admit there's parts of Scotland that aren't too bonnie.
