ASL/16 "Aramis", 75mm.
Sculpture: Ángel Terol.
Paint: Alexandre Cortina.

Aramis, 75mm. This one is the second piece that Alexandros Models produces being based on the famous prominent figures of the novel of Alexandre Dumas. The section of the wall is the same that that of our previous reference (ASL/15 "Porthos"), being like that compatiblly for the accomplishment of a scene.
Our idea is it of representing d'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis in the same context to offer to the collector the possibility of creating a diorama with four pieces.
Taking the description of the novel as a reference, the production of each one of the prominent figures tries to contribute the typical own aspects of every individual, both physical and aesthetic, and psychological too.
This absence of regular uniformity will allow to the painter to elaborate the chromatic range following freely his own criterion..

We hope that you like!

Very nice indeed!!! I love the pose, very natural. The paint job is also exceptional. I like the idea of all four figures, similar to Andrea but larger scale and better poses.

The pose is highly reminiscent of the PiliPili cavalier:

While both figures are anatomically very good, I was wondering whether such pose is historically plausible. I can easily imagine a 21-century person sitting like this, but would not it be considered a bit below the dignity of a 17th-c musketeer? Just a thought.

Best,
Sergei

EXCELLENT figure!!!! The pose, to me, is a very natural looking pose. I hear what Sergi is saying and, to be honest, brings up a valid point. Historically speaking? Maybe not an accurate pose considering the "social rank or standing" a cavalier would certianly have had during this period. But to me? Considering the source of Alexandre Dumas and the characters of d'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, I find the pose fitting as it's based on a novel. I most certianly will buy all 4 releases. 75mm? hmmmmmm, LOT's of nice possibilities there. Looking forward to the next two releases.

Pedro, do you know what the release schedule will be for the next two?
