I love it! I just hate that it's a bust. Actually it is really just a half figure so I don't really understand why companies just don't go all the way and make it a full figure? Or at least offer an option as a full fig or a bust, half fig whatever. Some really nice half figures have been produced but I just feel if your gonna go that far just go all the way and offer a full figure. This would be SO SO inpressive as a full figure in that scale. It is really too bad.
Simply awesome ! However, and not to take anything away from this bust, I personally would prefer the complete figure, something akin to Andrea's 90mm German Sniper.
Excellent sculpting. I agree with Dancap, this piece would look fantastic as a complete figure. I also agree that with certain figures, it would be great to chose between purchasing a bust, or, a complete figure of the same item. I know it has to do with keeping prices down in casting, and, making it affordable to us but, if the detail and quality is the same as in the bust, I would probably buy the full version. A personal decision , but, still a choice. I do like the helmet version over the sidecap. Regards, SG
Smack my gob, SUPERB work yet again.
I really think that this shows the figure and also other areas of the model replica world should be recognised officially.
No thread distruption, but this is yet another example of the art. The Grand Masters did it on canvas or wood, now we see it as perfect sculpts and painted equally as good. If there was a school I would go there but in the meantime, thank you for showing such a great piece of ART, and that is to all the sculptors that we follow so dearly
Unfortunately it was never going to be a full figure. When you add up the master costs the extra bit you want for essentially hips and legs, the actual sales volume doesnt even come close. When you then look at the production costs and this would be even more extreme for alexandros as they out source their casting, the thought of even making a full figure is suicide.
It would have been a superb figure though but only a minority would have bought it
