Are these available for order NOW!? :D

Jim Patrick

EDIT- Nevermind, just looked at your website. An order will be coming in soon from me.

There is something different about these releases from Alpine this time round. And "better" is not exactly the word (for they have always been fantastic).

Anyway, the difference is such that for once I am happy to bear the higher price charged by Hong Kong distributors.

Way to go, Alpine!

Thank you all for the kind words, guys.
I really live for this moment: when my
work is approved by my colleagues.
You guys made my day! :)

I have to give a shout-out to Man-Jin Kim
for the fantastic painting job.
Hope you guys noticed something different
in painting style. :)

So that explains it...

Greetings Taesung,

well I just bought the Dragon Tiger I-with-Zimmerit two weeks ago, and you already provide a crew - you're just too kind :D

The British figure is very interesting too of course, I will buy one or two !! I hope for more Allies in 1/16 also, and another figure by Yukio Honma maybe, the Kampfgruppe Hansen figure is really awesome ! (y)

Hi Taesung,

The pair will be like "Beauty with the Beast" on the Tiger...definitely sell like hot cake for armor modellers. Need a personal favor, pls ship to M-Workshop asap as I am headng to S'pore end next week and hope to pick this up... thanks a million

Brilliant thanks for the nice sculpt that continue to create pleasure for us to paint...

The faces are something I like; rather then chiseled jaw lines and cheekbones, those are faces I could see on a sporting ground (baseball, for some reason) for Wittman, while running a fruit & veg stand for Bobby.

These faces seem better to me rather then the "heroic" faces often seen on the likes of Andrea or Pegaso.

Even the SAS trooper has a good looking face....

Excellent finish on the leathers for the SAS!

Cheers

great figures as ever, Woll is superb, really looks like him.

Top marks to peter and ernesto on a superb paint and sculpt. Lovely piece of sculpting peter, your best for a while mate

Really great figures, Mr Harmms!
It looks like the scale 1:16. It´s a must have!!

The quality and the acuteness are still exemplary. You can see, even 7 years after launching with "AM", the progression which is needed to be better than others.

Regards,

Joachim

Killer stuff Taesung (y)

Well, if nobody else did, I indeed noticed the different painting style used on the German figures. This is more of a "surface coloration" effect than a straight highlight and shadow technique. It kind of looks like the work of that absolutely crazy panzer dude by Mr. Takahashi you linked to here a month or two ago:

This is a unique approach when compared to the usual "forced light" technique exemplified by Ernesto's SAS dude. I am definitely on the fence about whether this is a good way to go or not. But I can always appreciate when somebody thinks outside the box.

Oh yeah, nice figures from Taesung, as usual...... (y)
