I like this one, but its difficult when pinning figures in high heels.

I think it would be a good thing if the heels came separate, perhaps in resin with holes in them or halfway throuhg drilled holes for easier pinning?

Love this range from Andrea, I just could not concentrate long enough to paint one of these I dont think :hungry:

Great likeness to the original again ;) great painting.

This is a great figure. For those not familiar with it, it's based on Gil Elvgren's 'Plenty Sharp'/Get the Point' painted in 1959. Google it; it'll come up. In the original painting, the spikey plants (yucca?) are considerably taller and not potted. The painted figure emulates the white dress with red trim in the painting. For whatever reason, Elvgren opted not to include a slip inside the dress. I think the inclusion of a lace slip hem would add some visual interest and help break up the large expanse of a single color inside the dress. From what I can see of her right foot, I think you can angle a pin through the foot, down through the kit base, and into a wood plinth without difficulty. Use epoxy.

Cheers,

Glen
