New Andrea Miniatures

I don't know what is the matter with Andrea these days. Nearly everything new coming from them seems to be these fantasy figures. I have nothing against fantasy, and Lord knows I've bought a few Andrea figures in my time. But surely there should be some balance here. The only historical Andreas lately seem to be out of my price range, such as the WW1 tank. What does everyone else think?

Holy *****, that's got to appeal to an extremely narrow market surely.....but obviously those many fans of Zoomorphic/Fantasy/Zombie/Piratic Action figures will be doing backflips with glee over this one.
Whoops!one of them just slipped a disc, doing backflips, that just leaves the other two more of them.

Actually the fantasy figure market continues to grow at a fairly fast pace,while historical is not.That is what most of the younger generation go for.I'm a historical guy but you can see it.

Hey Trex Perhaps you would like to share with us mere mortals just exactly what the proportions of of an ORC are??????????????? You most likely know about such things as MYTHICAL beasts.
The rest of us want to know?

Don't get me wrong Don, since I'm not a native speaker.
I didn't imply there are right proportions for an orc.
I only meant to say that because this figure has such short legs it looks a bit funny to me.
So instead of being scary, it makes me smile. Maybe it's the opposite of a "bad joke" but anyway, I hope you get my point now.
I think a bit longer legs would be more appropriate to the superb face and the rest of the details in order to make it look as scary as it should be.

Trex, I agree 100% he does look funny and longer legs would help him a lot. As for the right proportions for a ORK well who knows it may be right, Andrea may have found the original ORK and he had short legs?
Dont worry about not being a native speaker, there are a lot of home grown punters on here that have never become very good at English either and its supposed to be their native tongue.

Great point in your post and just keep posting, dont listen to the others.
