The APG is happy to announce the upcoming release of a new figure by Carl Reid. As you can see he's a Grenadier from the 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers during the period of the American War of Indepence.

The figure will be released at the APG Show in Fredericksburg, VA on August 15 this year. More to follow.

Thanks to Carl for this superb piece.

Ich Dien !

I should add that this was a donated from Carl to the APG to aide in our fundraising efforts. A generous gift indeed and we are very grateful. All proceeds from the sale of this figure will go towards historic preservation. I should add here that 2 of the places we have helped preserve, Princeton and Camden are final resting places for British soldiers from our AWI. Some in formal cemetaries and some still buried were they fell. We are honored to be able to help preserve that sacred soil and allow those soldiers to rest in peace.

This is a bobby-dazzler and no mistake, and a "must-have" for FW or Euro.

Carl,
Thank you very much for your donation to the APG. I know Mike, Jon, and everyone involved is thrilled! It will be a must have at the show in August.

Best regards,
Rod

Great cause Carl
Absolutely love the pose
Reminds me so much of the Embleton illustrations
In the older Military Illustrated magazines.
And it's a wee one too !
Great to see you doing a full figure again.
We are always greedy and never satisfied.
Did you enjoy doing it enough to think of a Hessian as a
companion piece for the other end of my mantle piece?
Ha ha
Me like lots paul.
Are you coming to figureworld ?
