Saw this on Kirill's fb page yesterday. At last another Soviet/Russian from Young, oh happy day!
As for Kirill's brushwork, I'm speechless, dumbfounded, flabbergasted, what have you! I'd better switch to knitting and needlework and burn my brushes!
This makes my day, no, my year!

Not quoted in full but I am the same, just when I think I do okay, some one raises the bar another 3 levels.
Superb painting , the face is amazing as is the clothing.
My wife knits, I might join her but there again, she is levels above me. Can't win.
