Thank you for your comment. The figure is indeed dressed in the regional costume of Montenegro. If you have been able to read the historical review on my page, it comments on this point. The identification of the military rank is on the insignia of the cap worn by the king.

The Kings and Emperors series reflects the rulers, whether kings or emperors, who held power between 1912 and 1914, just before the First World War, which, as everyone knows, brought down, among others, the German Empire, the Russian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, etc. In relation to your question, the next figure to appear will be Carolo I of Romania, and later Peter I of Serbia.
