This is a Balkanian subject.This attire is traditional men's wear to the greatest part of mainland Greece,Southern Albania and parts of Bulgaria.The painter,if I am not mistaken,is Serbian.The subject can safely be placed within the first half of the 19th century.

You're quite right Oda. He was a Serbian realist painter. His name is Pavle "Paja" Jovanović.
He was not listed in "Artists and Illustrators", but he is now.

a beautiful figure! It's just that this one seems familiar to me. This figure was previously released by NS-Prod.

You are absolutely correct.There was a N-S Prod version inspired by the same painting (different sculptor and brand though) as was one more version by Tinyleads (again different sculptor and brand).Tinyleads is defunct and last time I checked Nelly and Samy no longer have their version in stock or plan to rerelease.

PS: Nelly and Samy (N-S Prod) do their own sculpting while the new release by Legion was sculpted by A.Khayrutdinov.
