Hi to all on the planet ,

Its my pleasure to be able to announce and share the latest release from our friends in China ..LINJO MODELS .

As you probably know folklore and heroes figure often in Chinese culture and this is where the inspiration for this bust of Lin Chong comes from.

Model details:

Subject title: Lin Chong
Scale: 200mm
Parts: 10
Material: Resin
Code: LJ20019
Sculptor: Chunmei Zhou

Who was Lin Chong ....... a very important character from the classic Chinese novel called The Story of the Water Margin , highly skilled in military matters , he was famed for his use of the spear .

He was according to legend the person who trained the 800,000 Imperial Army .......eventually after much persecution from local officials he joined the rebels in the Lianshan mountains.

This is available now from Linjo via their website , there are other distributors as as well , ie El Greco in the UK

Looks to be well up to the very high standard , like the look of the chest armour..will be doing a full review on this and the last 2 releases as soon as they drop on my doormat!!

For now enjoy the pictures

Re: NEW from Linjo models -Ling Chong

I like it, but the face is very caucasian, not a mongoloid caracter, doesn't it?

Congrats to the sculptor!

I like this one a lot and think it will be my next bust, given my connections with Wudang it is of particular interest to me and a lot of my fellow students.

I don't see anything wrong with the face the whole demeanor of the casting will set this piece.
Congrats to Mezie (y)
