Very nice and perhaps it's just the lighting, however does the sword blade look a bit narrow in profile for the two handed weapon these soldiers used?

While I agree with Gary it's possible I suppose that it's an estock bladed sword. I would rather the keg was complete too. that said a nice piece, with some lovely painting

I am a big fan of Youngs Historical range of busts and have been looking out for a Landskneckt bust to add to my collection however this one isn't floating my boat at the moment, the points raised regarding the sword and the Keg/wooden chest would probably be easy enough to fix, I would also add a wee bit onto the bottom of the Breastplate just to balance it out, maybe I will wait until Nap does a review on it just to get a better look at how much work it would involve and then consider it.

Nice sculpt! It looks to me like it would be prohibitive giving my skillsets. The painting of the eyes alone would rule me out. I can see by the face alone that you need to be a very talented painter to tackle this one! Again, very nice sculpt!

Hi Guys

I am sure it will do well , the painting is superb , like the face but not keen on the cyst ..a full version

I agree with the sword and breastplate comments as well

A new sculptor for Youngs I believe as well be interesting to see what he comes up with next

Thanks for sharing

Nap

PS I will be reviewing the Altores one soon but would love to work with Youngs stuff as well ..maybe in the not too distant future !
