And the man himself, in colour

Now 200mm is 1/10? Or is this just a short guy?

First, nice! Will go well with some other figs already available in 1/9. Would love to see it in 1/16 as well to go with the Andys M8

If you want to determine scale based on mm height, just divide 1800mm (a 6 ft tall fig in 1/1 scale) by the 200mm, and you get 9, so its 1/9 scale. 1/10th is 180mm tall. In reality, they are frequently (along with 1/8 scale) about the same size. Depends on sculptor. If this guy is indeed 200mm tall and in 1/10th, he would be rather tall. To the tune of 6'6" or almost 2 meters in new money.I'm betting 1/9 would be more accurate. The real guy looks on the small side to me

Nice figure and good to see another one than the one depicted many other times.

The only objective measure to compare scales is through dimensions of the weapons. Measuring the weapon can tell what scale this one really is.

In my view the helmet is on the small side, but I am a nitpicker.

Gents, agreed on all points, particularly about the length of a fixed object, such as the rifle. Humans come in too many different sizes to really determine a scale! Also, yes, this guy is available in 1/16 & 1/35, too.

Thanks for pointing that out. Now if we can get a couple more, maybe the guy on the right (we already have guy on left in 1/16) :

We'll really be in business. I have never seen him done in anything other than 1/35th. Also, a crazy thought. How about one of the guy that actually did the filming?

Thank you Life Miniatures, I had hoped we would see some KG Hansen figs in the larger scales to go with Andy's M8.

"Pre-orders for LIFE MINIATURES NEW 'Ambush at Poteau' series" note series in the preorder title offer.

my one reservation with this is that the figure can only be from Poteau, being a near perfect match for the images from that period. Rather than a generic figure of an Axis soldier from WWII. Still keen to get one.
