Hello. I am new here. I thought I would post images of the figures that I have done. Let me know what you think. They are all painted with Humbrol for the uniforms and oils on the skin. I also use Archer eye decals.
First up is a Verlinden Vietnam Bust

This figure is from Mcfarlane Toys. I took one of their modern military figures and completely repainted it. This is their modern Ranger.

I love the Archer decals for the larger figures. They don't really work well for 120mm or smaller. I don't have much confidence when doing the eyes and the decals take the pressure off. Do people frown about using these decals instead of hand painting them?

Wellcome to planet kurt! Your figs are looking great! By the way, Moilanen is finnish surename. Are your roots from here up north?

Thanks Kurt, I was thinking of getting a set for a couple of busts I have, so I'm glad they work for the larger scales. Do people frown on using them? Probably, but it works for you so who cares.

Yes I am Finnish. I don't know from where in Finland my family is from. They settled in the Calumet area of Northern Michigan, as did many other Fins.

Great looking stuff. So you are completely repainting the McFarlane figures. Great job then. They look really good. I have repainted some sports picks by McFarlane, but haven't ventured into other repaints. Have thought about repainting some of the Conan figures also. Maybe someday.
