I think I must be going off metal models as this one looks downright pudgy and squat. That's Leibovitz's style to some degree but this one doesn't work. I don't think Napoleonic soldiers were quite that well fed - even the officers.

Another great work from Bruno.
But as Edorta observed: using parts from different figures create a new figure.
Doesn't that all sculptors do??????
Why inventing the wheel again??

I agree.

I would like to clarify a bit more what I just said. I am not against this practice of using parts of existing figures to create new ones, in fact "Metal Modeles" has a serie called "Versions", composed in this way and sold at lower prices, along with the sale of accessories as heads, arms etc. so everyone can create their own conversions.
I think this is also one of the virtues of the brand. I love Metal Modeles figures, but this time the new release is not so original, but it´s ok.

It it is a bit podgy like the Dragoon, not quite sure the boots are right on both of them ,was the knee section not a bit different from the main leg part with a bit more shape.
Regards being a little fat ,not I the figure:) there is a tendency for sculpting longer body shapes and making them look like fashion models.;)
