Agree with static characterization; however, this entire line of figures is very well done. Gendarmarie figure offers some flexibility in posing other heavy cavalry units.

I like both. Great releases. One of the most beautiful ranges about the french napoleonic period, continues growing.

Static, yes, but I always liked the classic poses from Metal Modeles, not eveyhing has to be action packed. And this time we get a figure posed with a horse, rather than simply mounted.
I also like both as they are, but enjoy considering the possibilities for conversions based on simple head swaps.
