New Mike Blank book!

As some of you may know I have been working on a new book about painting to published by Scale 75, and I am very happy (and excited !) to tell you all that the book is ready and published now!
This is a long overdue and updated book on how I approach the painting of miniatures, how I see colours and above all, colour harmony.


By the way, the title is "Colour Harmony"!
I will attend the SMC show in Eindhoven, Holland, next month, so anyone who might like a signed copy, I´ll be there for you!


And I will also have a figure painted by me as raffle figure from Scale 75 who will also attend this show.

I've often wondered why he doesn't sign up as a member here himself though. It would be great to get his input first hand and see his work.

Dear Friends
Many thanks for the interest in this new book. Several people have asked why I do not sign up here on this forum... ?
Well the reason is time. Or the lack of it.
I work as a teacher full time, sculpting and painting full time, taking care of my two daughters, etc. Time flies indeed.
I whish I had the time to be an active member here and some day I might find the time to be that...
In the meantime I will write some articles for you guys on some of the vignettes I have recently created. Hope these will be of some interest!

Well, I've been allowed a late anniversary present (50 years married!.....to the same girl !), the book's ordered, but the P&P is a bit eye-watering. Still, I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Just received my copy (great service !) and at first glance, it's a very nicely produced book, clear, concise, with superb illustrations. I can see this becoming quite a classic, and Mike is to be congratulated. His friendly personality shines through the first few pages I've read.
Even an old dog (C'est moi) can learn new tricks.....
