It wouldn't have surprised me to learn those engines had been installed back to front What a joke our once great navy must seem to those who wish us harm, let alone our 'allies'. Depressing.

When I see the $ investment in some of these new ships, I hope that we are remembering the lessons of history (e.g.HMS Repulse and Prince of Wales). A few well paced cruise missles = the loss of a major asset?

If we would remember the lessons of history a bit better we would have to spend a bit more of those £ or €, in my humble opinion... (The $ guys understand this better it seems).

It's just better if the good guys have the biggest stick. They seem to ignore this.
